Chicken Stir-Fry with Broccoli
A stir-fry is what to make when you're short on time and want some vegetables in the mix. Slice everything before you start, because once the pan is hot it all moves quickly. Tossing the chicken in a little cornflour first keeps it tender and helps the sauce cling.
Ingredients
Makes 4 servings
- 640g Chicken breast
- 400g Broccoli
- 60ml Soy sauce
- 5 garlic cloves
- 20ml Sesame oil
- 20g Cornflour
- 20g Ginger
Method
- Slice chicken breast thinly and toss with cornflour and a pinch of salt.
- Heat oil in a wok over high heat. Stir-fry chicken 3–4 minutes until golden. Remove and set aside.
- Add garlic and ginger to wok, fry 30 seconds. Add broccoli and stir-fry 3 minutes. Return chicken.
- Pour over soy sauce and sesame oil, toss to coat. Season to taste and serve with steamed rice.
