Air Fryer Honey Soy Salmon
If you've got an air fryer, salmon is one of the easiest things to cook in it. The honey and soy glaze goes sticky at the edges while the fish stays moist in the middle. It's ready in about the time it takes to cook a pot of rice.
Ingredients
Makes 4 servings
- 680g Salmon fillets
- 60ml Soy sauce
- 48g Honey
- 20g Ginger
- 3 garlic cloves
- 20ml Sesame oil
- 40g Spring onion
- 300g Jasmine rice
Method
- Preheat the air fryer to 180°C. Pat the salmon fillets dry and brush lightly with sesame oil.
- Whisk together soy sauce, honey, grated ginger and a crushed garlic clove in a bowl to make the glaze.
- Place the salmon skin-side down in the air fryer basket and brush generously with half the glaze.
- Air fry at 180°C for 8–10 minutes, brushing with the remaining glaze halfway, until the salmon flakes easily.
- Taste the remaining glaze and add a splash more soy if it needs salt, then spoon over the salmon, scatter spring onion and serve with steamed rice.
